Incendio Unlock Condition
Obtained from "Professor Hecat's Assignment"
To obtain Incendio, clear the qyest, "Professor Hecat's Assignment." If you haven't cleared it yet, you can find it from the list in the Quest Menu, or progress through the story to make the quest appear.

Effects and uses of Incendio
Fire attribute attack with short range
Incendio is a fire attribute attack with the second highest firepower after Diffindo. The downside is that it has a short range. Its recommended to use Accio first before casting Incendio to compensate for the range. Enemies hit by Incendio receive continuous burn damage within a time frame which causes explosive flames when damaged.

Use as a gimmick to light a fire
Incendio is used as a device or candlestick gimmick that moves when lit. However, the magic range is very short, so use Confringo for distant gimmicks instead.

Use for treasure vault gimmick
Incendio is used as a gimmick to open the entrance to the treasure room. If there is a floor and a box with the Incendio mark, carry the box to the floor and hit it with Glacius.

Burn spider webs and plants

Incendio can burn spider webs and vines that block the path. If there is a treasure chest or the like behind a burnable object, use Incendio to break through it.

Incendio Usage
Press the R2 button while pressing ◯△□✖️
To use Incendio, press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons while holding down the R2 button. It is advisable to equip the spell in a strategic position in the spell set menu in advance.
Set the spell with the right directional button
To set the spell, press the right directional button to display the spell set menu. If you long press the R2 button in the menu and press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons, the spell will be set in the same position.
Increase the number of sets with Talent
The number of spell sets can be increased by leveling talent. To increase the sets, obtain the Spell Knowledge from the Core Talent Tree in the Talent tab. It is possible to increase the number of sets up to four.
