Obtain by destroying Blue Crystals

Moonstone can be obtained by destroying blue crystals on the world map. Since it can be found anywhere in the world, make sure to destroy it using Basic Cast when you come across it. If you can't find it, you can use Revelio to highlight it or press the R3 button to lock on and search for it.

Obtain by using Evanesco to destroy conjured objects

Moonstones can be obtained by using Evanescoto to destroy conjured objects. If you have any unwanted items in The Room of Requirement, you can turn them into Moonstones using Evanesco. However, the number of Moonstones you can obtain is the same as the number of items consumed to place them.

Unlocked in the main quest: The Room of Requirement

Evanesco and The Room of Requirement are unlocked by clearing the main quest, "The Room of Requirement." If you haven't cleared the quest yet, progress the story to make the quest appear.

Obtain by using the Material Refiner

Moonstones can be obtained by using the Material Refiner that can be installed in The Room of Requirement. You need the Material Refiner spellcraft to use it. You can purchase it at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. Note that you need 15 Moonstones to install the Material Refiner.

Since you can install up to 3 Material Refiners in The Room of Requirement, you can obtain 30 Moonstones in 10 minutes. If you need a large amount of Moonstones, be sure to give it a try.

Uses of Moonstone

Used to cast Conjuring Spell

Moonstone is used to cast the Conjuring Spell in The Room of Requirement. If you want to place furniture or facilities in The Room of Requirement, make sure to collect Moonstone in advance. Additionally, purchasing a spellcraft at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade will increase the variety of things you can place.
