How to Grow Plants
Clear Herbology Class
To cultivate plants, first progress through the story and clear the main quest "Herbology Class". Clearing Herbology Class will allow you to grow your favorite plants.
Growing Plants in The Room of Requirement
You can also grow plants in The Room of Requirement. After clearing the main quest "The Room of Requirement", you will be able to place planters in The Room of Requirement. Additionally, you can cultivate plants in both the Greenhouse and The Room of Requirement at the same time.

Choosing the Seeds to Cultivate
Once you have cleared Herbology Class, head to the plant pots in the Greenhouse and choose the seeds you want to cultivate. There are a total of 8 different types of seeds that can be cultivated. You can purchase them at The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade or at Dogweed and Deathcap.
Some Seeds Require Large Planters
To cultivate some seeds, you will need large planters such as Medium Plant Pots or Large Plant Pots. Large Plant Pots can be obtained in the Main Staircase in the Hufflepuff Common Room (unlocked by progressing through the story), so prioritize advancing through the main story.
Waiting for the Time Until Harvest
Giving Fertiliser to the potted plant stand increases growth. Fertiliser can be purchased at The Magic Neep or created at the Dung Composter. The Dung Composter can be unlocked by progressing through the main story, so it is recommended to prioritize advancing the main story.

How to Use Plants

Set the Plant in the Slot by Holding Down L1
When using plants for battles, start by setting the plant in the slot by holding down the L1 button. Holding down the L1 button allows you to check the plants available for battles. Select the plant to use when tapping the L1 button.
Use the Plant by Tapping L1
Once you have set the plant in the slot by holding down L1, use the plant by tapping the L1 button. Plants have effects that can give you an advantage in battles, such as attacks or paralysis.
Use Alchemy Plants as Materials
Alchemy plants are used as materials at the Potions Station unlocked in the main quest "Potions Class". The mixed potions can be set by holding down L1, just like battle plants, and can be used by tapping L1.

Greenhouse

One of the places where you can grow plants is at the greenhouse at Hogwarts. There are potted plant stands right after you enter the greenhouse and go down the stairs.
The Room of Requirement

The second place where you can grow plants is The Room of Requirement within Hogwarts. After clearing the main quest "The Room of Requirement," it will be unlocked, and you can set up various facilities in exchange for consuming Moonstones. Note that you can install multiple facilities of the same kind in The Room of Requirement.
