To obtain Descendo, clear the quest, "Professor Onai's Assignment." If you haven't cleared it yet, you can find it from the list in the Quest Menu, or progress through the story to make the quest appear.

Effects and uses of Descendo

Slam an enemy or object into the ground

Descendo allows you to slam enemies and objects into the ground. The damage when you slam it is proportional to the height, so it is recommended to use it in a combo with a spell that makes the enemy float, such as Levioso or Flipendo.

Descendo Usage

Press the R2 button while pressing ◯△□✖️

To use Descendo, press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons while holding down the R2 button. It is advisable to equip the spell in a strategic position in the spell set menu in advance.

Set the spell with the right directional button

To set the spell, press the right directional button to display the spell set menu. If you long press the R2 button in the menu and press one of the ◯△□✖️ buttons, the spell will be set in the same position.

Increase the number of sets with Talent

The number of spell sets can be increased by leveling talent. To increase the sets, obtain the Spell Knowledge from the Core Talent Tree in the Talent tab. It is possible to increase the number of sets up to four.
