Recommended Combinations

Accio and Incendio

Spell 1	Order	Spell 2
Accio	→	Incendio

This combo uses Accio to pull the enemy closer and then follows up with Incendio which is the second most powerful spell. It is recommended to immediately connect the combo after using Accio. Using Basic Cast after Accio will knock the enemy back and take them out of Incendio's range.

Glacius and Diffindo

Spell 1	Order	Spell 2
Glacius	→	Diffindo

This combo freezes enemies with Glacius and then slices them with the powerful spell, Diffindo. Enemies frozen with Glacius take increased damage which makes Diffindo the optimal choice for the next damaging spell.

If facing a Large opponent, use Stupefy first

When facing Large enemies like Trolls or Dugbogs, use Stupefy followed by the Glacius Combo. By using the Glacius Combo after stunning the opponent with Stupefy, you can deal significant damage right after using an attack with the Ancient Magic Meter.

Levioso and Descendo

Spell 1	order	Spell 2
Levioso	→	Descendo

This combo lifts the enemy with Levioso and slams them down with Descendo. Descendo deals large damage when used on a floating enemy, so it is recommended to use it after lifting the enemy with Levioso or Accio. Additionally, after Descendo, the enemy is defenseless, so hit them with a Basic Cast to finish them off.

Transformation and Ancient Magic Throw

Spell 1	order	Spell 2
Transformation	→	Ancient Magic Throw

This deadly combo transforms enemies into explosives with Transformation and then detonates them with Ancient Magic Throw. When you throw the transformed enemy with R1, they will be instantly defeated by the explosion, and it also deals large damage to enemies hit by the throw. However, to perform this combo, you need to level up to at least level 22 and improve your talent in Transformation.

Expelliarmus and Ancient Magic Throw

Expelliarmus	→	Ancient Magic Throw

This combo involves using Expelliarmus to disarm the enemy and then using Ancient Magic Throw to strike them. Ancient Magic Throw boasts high power and can deal large damage, making it a powerful move. Additionally, by disarming the enemy with Expelliarmus, you can reduce their means of attack. Once you have levitated the weapon with Expelliarmus, quickly press R1 to strike the enemy with it.

Crucio and Avada Kedavra

Spell 1	Order	Spell 2
Crucio	→	Avada Kedavra

A combo that curses multiple enemies with enhanced Crucio and eliminates enemies with Avada Kedavra. When the talent of Avada Kedavra is enhanced, all cursed enemies can be defeated in an instant. Unforgivable Curses such as Crucio cannot be learned through the main quest alone, so progress through the relationship quests to obtain it.

How to Connect Combos

Using the Second Spell Right After the First Spell

To efficiently defeat enemies with combos, connect spells continuously. Since the effect of the spell wears off after a certain amount of time, it is easier to accumulate damage by connecting spells without using Basic Cast in between.

Earn Combos with Basic Cast

The combo displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen is easier to connect by repeatedly using Basic Cast. The time meter for continuing the combo is long, so you can connect combos just by continuously using Basic Cast during the recast time of magic. By connecting more combos, you can easily charge the Ancient Magic Meter, so be sure to use Basic Cast repeatedly during battles.

Basic Cast is also Efficient in Terms of Damage

Basic Cast combos against downed opponents have good damage efficiency. Use Basic Cast combos to earn damage against downed opponents, and use magic combos to earn damage against enemies that are not downed.
