How to Unlock: Mer-Ky Depths

Clear: Percival Rackham's Trial

The Mer-Ky Depths is unlocked by completing the main quest, "Percival Rackham's Trial." After you clear the main quest, talk to Nerida Roberts sitting on the dock near the Boathouse.

Talk to Nerida on the dock

Talk to Nerida Roberts on the docks. To get to Nerida, use the Boathouse Floo Flame fast travel point.

Find the Leaky Caves

The entrance to the Leaky Caves can be found by swimming straight to the west in the lake. A guide will be displayed, so follow the guide and swim.

Guide the 3 moths to the door

Guide the three moths to the door. The moth is on the wall opposite the Leaky Caves door, so you can use Lumos to guide it. The moths at both ends have spider webs in front of them, cast Incendio or Confringo on the spider webs.

Obtain the Mermish artefact from the treasure chest

Obtain the Mermish artefact from the treasure chest at the door.

Report back to Nerida

Once you have obtained the Mermish artefact, report back to Nerida.Please note that the reward will change depending on the selection you make at the time of reporting.

Reward

Mermaid Liaison Uniform

You will receive the Mermaid Liaison Uniform as a reward for clearing the quest. The Mermaid Liaison Uniform has no effect on your status. However, it is a valuable item, so be sure to get it.

Mermish artefact

It can only be obtained if you select "I've decided to keep the gift" during your conversation with Nerida. Since it is a quest item, it has no effect on the strategy.

180 XP

The reward for this quest is +180 XP. XP is required to level up, so make use of side quests to earn XP.
