Talk to Garnuff in Hogsmeade

Take the Biscuit begins by talking to the goblin Garnuff in Hogsmeade. Fast travel to West Hogsmeade and talk to him under the bridge on the way to the Magic Neep.

Begins after obtaining the nab-sack

The quest can also start after receiving the nab-sack from Deek in the main quest, "The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom." If it has not occurred, proceed with the main quest first.

"Take the Biscuit" Bug Fix

Bug when Opening the Cage in Advance causes the Quest to become unplayable

If you unlock the Mooncalf Cage at the campsite found in the North Ford Bog before starting the quest, the "Take the Biscuit" quest will become unplayable. This can have a negative impact on side quests and trophy achievements related to collections. Therefore, avoid opening the cage at the mentioned campsite.

Wait for a Patch if You Accidentally Opened the Cage

If you accidentally opened the cage in advance, you won't be able to progress in "Take the Biscuit" at the moment. According to Twitter, the development team is already aware of this issue. If you find yourself in this situation, it is recommended to wait for an official patch to be released.

Walkthrough: Take the Biscuit

Head to the poacher's camp

After speaking with Garnuff in West Hogsmeade, head to the poacher's camp in the Northeastern part of the map. Due to the distance from Hogsmeade, we recommend heading there from Upper Hogsfield on a broomstick or beast mount.

Defeat the poachers around the cage

At the camp, poachers are patrolling around the cage. If you leave the poachers alone, you won't be able to move on to the capture event, so use Petrificus Totalus after the Disillusionment spell to defeat each one.

Open the cage with Alohomora

After defeating the poachers, use Alohomora to unlock the cage in the center of the camp. You can unlock it by moving the green ring to the top right and the red ring to the bottom left.

Capture the Biscuit that came out of the cage

When the cage is unlocked, the Mooncalves will jump out of the cage all at once. The target individual will be displayed as "Mooncalf Biscuit" when you lock on, so be sure to search for it and catch it with your nab-sack.

Additionally, mooncalves are fast-moving. If you try to capture them with just a nab-sack, it's easy for them to escape. Before using the nab-sack, cast Levioso to create an opening.

Collect other mooncalves and make money

If you have time, capture the other Mooncalves in addition to Biscuit. Beasts can be sold for 120G each at Hogsmeade's Brood and Peck, so they are useful for making money in the mid-game.

Talk to Garnuff and hand over the biscuit.

After capturing Biscuit, return to Hogsmeade and talk to Garnuff under the bridge. When you hand over Biscuit, the quest will be completed. You will also receive a reward of 300 Galleons and the Beast Rescuer Robe from the collection.

If you don't hand Biscuit over, your reward will be reduced.

If you choose to keep Biscuit, you will not receive the 300 galleon reward. It is recommended that you choose the option of handing over the Biscuit for a greater reward.
